This policy explains the few third-party services the app relies on — ads, purchases, and optional cloud backup — and what each may process, so you can make informed choices.
Who we are
Reelaxed ("the app", "we", "us") is published by an independent developer ("Anini"). Questions about privacy: aniniwtf@gmail.com.
What the app stores on your device
All of your gameplay — fish caught, encyclopedia progress, rods, settings, and whether you've purchased Remove Ads — is stored locally on your device. There is no login and no profile.
Cloud backup
Reelaxed keeps a backup of your save in your own platform account so it survives a reinstall or a new device in the same ecosystem:
- iOS — your iCloud key-value storage (rides your Apple ID).
- Android — Google Play Games "Saved Games" (rides your Google account).
This backup contains only game progress. Cloud backup is on by default — you can turn it off any time in More → Settings → Cloud backup, which stops syncing and leaves the existing cloud copy untouched.
The backup lives in your personal Apple/Google account. We can't read it, and Apple/Google handle it under their own policies.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Reelaxed is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To show ads, AdMob (Google) may collect and process:

Consent & control:
- EEA / UK: on first launch we show Google's consent form (UMP). You choose whether ads are personalized.
- iOS: we ask via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking. If you decline, ads are non-personalized and no tracking identifier is used.
- Anywhere: the one-time Remove Ads purchase turns off all banner and interstitial ads. Optional rewarded videos remain available only if you choose to watch one.

Purchases
The optional Remove Ads purchase is processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play — the price for your region is shown in the store. We receive only a confirmation that the purchase succeeded — never your name, card number, or billing address. Refunds and payment data are handled by Apple/Google under their terms.
Notifications
If you opt in, the app schedules one gentle daily reminder ("today's catch is in"). These are local notifications generated on your device — there is no push server and no data leaves your phone. You can turn them off in Settings or your OS settings at any time.
Sharing a catch
When you tap Share on a trophy, your device's standard share sheet opens and you choose where the image goes. We don't upload it anywhere.
Children
Reelaxed is a general-audience game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app shows ads and offers a purchase, it is not enrolled in "Designed for Families" / kids programs.
Data sharing & selling
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers named above (Google AdMob; Apple/Google for purchases and cloud backup), and only to perform those functions. Where personalized ads are enabled, that constitutes "sharing" for advertising under some laws — you can turn it off via the consent screen (EEA/UK), the ATT prompt (iOS), your device ad settings, or by buying Remove Ads.
Retention & deletion
- On-device data: deleted when you uninstall the app (or use an in-app reset, if provided).
- Cloud backup: delete it from your iCloud or Google Play Games account.
- Ad data: retained and deleted by Google per their policy; you can reset your advertising ID in device settings.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA & others)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to opt out of personalized advertising / "sale" or "sharing". Because we hold no personal data on our own systems, most requests are exercised directly through the controls above and through Google/Apple. For anything else, email aniniwtf@gmail.com and we'll help. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and post the new version at this URL. Material changes will be reflected before they take effect.
